HOW MUCH ROOM DOES THE HASHTAG LAB NEED?
A couple of square metres that's easy for your guests to access is all we need. The actual set-up isn't very big at all but we think THE HASHTAG LAB will be so popular that your guests will be keen to come and see us to collect their prints.
do we need to provide power
do we need to provide internet?
Ideally, yes, but as long as your venue has mobile reception, THE HASHTAG LAB is good to go.
how do we decide on a hashtag?
Your chosen hashtag should be related directly to your event. THE HASHTAG LAB receives photos from anyone posting with the nominated hashtag, no matter where they are in this big wide world (great for people who couldn't make it, but it means you need to make sure you choose a UNIQUE hashtag).
Remember, hashtags don't do punctuation!
CAN WE USE OUR HASHTAG BEFORE AND AFTER THE EVENT?
Of course! THE HASHTAG LAB receives the feed from your custom hashtag only when we have it connected at your event.
DOES THE HASHTAG LAB INCLUDE A BACKDROP LIKE A NORMAL PHOTOBOOTH?
We can, that's for sure, a patterned material or custom printed paper backdrop does come at a cost, but we think $200 is worth it. Your backdrop can be anywhere in your venue, but we do recommend having THE HASHTAG LAB close to it.
HOW DO MY GUESTS KNOW WHICH HASHTAG TO USE?
You'll need to promote it during the event and if possible before it. We'll touch base with your MC on our arrival and we'll bring our lightbox sign too, but mentioning your unique event hashtag on your invitations, menus and other signs works a treat!
CAN I PROVIDE MY OWN BACKDROP?
WHAT ABOUT PROPS?
Every event is different, if you're having a backdrop for your guests to use, then it's a great idea to arrange some props that suit your event.
Why can't the hashtag lab get a feed from facebook?
Unfortunately, at this time, FaceBook doesn't allow it, if this changes in the future, we'll be all over it.
Can we post the photos to our own facebook page?
Yesiree, we just need you to log-in to your FaceBook account, on our computer, at the start of the event.
